A Message from Ann
I’m a Carolina conservative running to keep NC the best state for residents and businesses.
As your representative, I’ll fight for you and your family – to defend your constitutional rights, the principles of our democratic republic, conservative fiscal management of our state, and an improved quality of life for you and your family.
With six years as an Oak Ridge town council member, including four years as mayor, I’m uniquely qualified to represent the towns of Summerfield, Stokesdale, Colfax, and Oak Ridge, as well as the cities of High Point and Greensboro.
My leadership experience, combined with over 25 years as a small business owner, means that I know how to develop and implement ambitious strategies to improve our communities, our schools, and our economy.
As your representative, I will put the residents of the 62nd District and North Carolina FIRST.

More about Ann:
Ann grew up in southern Illinois. She and her husband Matt have lived in Oak Ridge, NC since 2008. Matt is a faculty member and administrator at High Point University. The couple has been married for 36 years and has three adult children, Sarah, Hannah, and Joshua. The couple attends the Oak Ridge Global Methodist Church, where Ann sings in the choir. In addition to her town service and experience as a small business owner and nonprofit leader, Ann has a long history of public service. She was also elected to serve on the board of the North Carolina Mayor’s Association, part of the NC League of Municipalities.
